SN-150 Analyzer Specifications
SN-350 Analyzer Specifications
Base oils in the lubrication and engine oil production industry are divided into different categories that have different applications depending on their physical and chemical properties. One way to classify base oils is to use different models and grades such as SN150, SN180, etc. These grades usually refer to the quality and specific characteristics of the base oils. Below, we will explain a few types of models and their applications
1. SN150: This type of base oil is one of the basic grades of mineral base oil that is used in the production of engine oils and industrial oils with normal working conditions. SN150 base oil has a lower viscosity and is usually used in normal temperature environments and for machinery that requires gentle lubrication.
2. SN180: SN180 base oil is of slightly higher grades than SN150 and is usually used in the production of medium to high quality engine oils. This base oil has better properties against oxidation and degradation at higher temperatures. This base oil is mostly used in the automotive and heavy machinery industries.
3. SN500: This type of base oil is of much higher quality than SN150 and SN180 and is used in the manufacture of high-performance engine oils and severe operating conditions. SN500 base oil is used in the production of superior performance engine oils, greases and lubricants that operate at very high temperatures or under high pressure.
4. N100: N100 base oil is another grade of base oil that is commonly used in light and medium industries for lubricating parts. This oil usually has a more moderate performance compared to SN models and is mostly used in the lubrication of industrial equipment and light machinery.
In addition to their use in the automotive and industrial machinery industries, base oils are also used in the production of industrial oils for various industries such as steelmaking, petrochemicals, and even marine industries. Choosing the right grade of base oil depends on the type of machine, operating conditions, ambient temperature and pressure, and can have a significant impact on the useful life of the machines and the performance of the lubricants.
